A matter close to our hearts
We want to be vocal – we stand for peace and the respect of human life.
The functionality of our online shop – that many of you scroll every week – has been made possible by the dedicated developers at CHE IT, an agency from the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv.
When the bombing of the city started, the entire team had to flee. Some managed to escape by car, others had to cross rivers in an inflatable boat, in constant fear for their lives and with little to no belongings.
How can we help?
As a company, we feel responsible to support the people we work with daily, who have become more than just co-workers over the years.
That’s why we have donated all profits from sales on our March 18 Bag Drop to help our friends in Ukraine, to fund housing, food, and clothing.
Additionally, we have opened a page to Caritas International and asked our clients to help as they can. Caritas organisations in Ukraine and neighbouring countries have been providing food, emergency shelter and psychological support to refugees and those affected by war. Donations will help provide essential supplies for Ukrainian people seeking protection.
We’re grateful for the supportive SACLÀB community and proud to share that we have collected and donated a total of €6,625 for the people in Ukraine.
