As we carefully hand-pick the items we offer, we take our time to thoroughly verify each bag’s authenticity. From single stitches to general construction and craftsmanship, our in-house experts examine its anatomy from the ground up, inside out.

After the initial inspection, they draw on a database of 25,000 images and detail shots – comprising logos, stamps, stitching and leathers of all relevant brands – for reference and comparison.

We grade the condition of each bag from 1 to 5:

1. Unworn with all accessories. Totally unused.
2. Hard to believe somebody owned it before. Showing minimum signs of wear.
3. Pre-loved. More than one imperfection.
4. This beauty has admittedly been used. Aged visibly and gracefully.
5. A bag with traces of a former life.
